Tara Anne Scully practices primarily in the areas of Asset Protection, Elder Law, Estate Planning, Medicaid application & planning, Guardianships, Special Needs Planning and Criminal Defense. Prior to opening her own firm, Ms. Scully was employed with a prominent law firm where she gained extensive experience in the areas of Elder Law and Estate Planning.

Ms. Scully just concluded her term as President of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association and belongs to the Suffolk County Bar Association (Elder Law & Estate Planning Committee), the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association (Elder Law and Trust and Estates Committees), and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

Ms. Scully serves as an adjunct professor at Suffolk County Community College. Ms. Scully’s professional experience also includes service as a Confidential Assistant to the Secretary to the Governor and as a Legal Assistant to the Counsel to the Governor in New York State’s Executive Chamber.

Ms. Scully served as Contracts Administrator at the Long Island Power Authority gaining valuable experience representing indigent criminal defendants as a Staff Attorney at the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society. She is admitted to practice law in New York State and Washington, D.C. Ms. Scully brings a wealth of governmental and legal experience to her practice.
